Barocco- OOAK Hand made Sterling silver wire and brass ring with red obsidian

The word baroque is derived from the Portuguese word "barroco", Spanish "barroco",italian 'barocco': all of which refer to a "rough or imperfect pearl".
In informal usage, the word baroque can simply mean that something is "elaborate", with many details.

This ring is very elaborate, hours of work!
At the center a unique gemstone, a wonderful red obsidian: obsidian is good utilized as grounding and protective agents.

Obsidian is surrounded by sterling silver wire and tens of silver charms (butterflies, hearts,dolphins,beads).
Ring is in brass.
Ring size 7.

You can think this ring as a sculpture for your hand.

III Step:'Chained' Wedding

In Selargius (near the city where I live, Cagliari), there is 'the selarginus wedding': bride and bridegroom are chained with a chain during the Ceremony...well, my project is a ring for the bride and a bracelet for the bridegroom...but if you are a single, your wedding is with yourself!:O)

My Africa ring

I found this wood ring at a strange shop.
It is african wood, only one piece handmade sculpted...It is perfumed...wondeful...

I think this ring is full of energy and so I used ruin marble stone and tiger's eye beads with copper wire..what do you think? I'm experimenting...

Ancient Shell from Mediterranean Sea, sterling silver wire, gold beads, 2 silver charms,quartz beads and rhodonite beads.
Why Organic? Organic because I have incorporated a fragment of shell into my interweave.Deco because It follows the sinuous shapes of nature, like Art Deco.
