November, a little journey in the garden...

This is one of my little gardens, in front of my house

I love to work in my gardens, to think, to walk in my gardens, like a little journey inside myself...and these are flowers and gourds. They say 'welcome' to everyone

Oh I know I know I know, I will have a vision of a piece, a new idea this evening, my Muse is singing...

Halloween?

The first day of Autumn (I know, It's October 31, but this Autumn is very crazy, like Summer!)... a rainy, cold and grey day...but I love it!
I worked on the little table out of my house....I love dark orange and green/yellow and compositions of vegetables (like Renaissance tables).
Strange gourds bought during my travels and a wonderful chrysanthemum.

The Autumn colors are perfect for meditation.

This is the time to think about the dead and the night, when the earth is sleeping together with the seeds.
I love to sketch in the afternoons of Autumn...on my sofa...

...and this is the new sketch, He (She? It?) will be another urban angel, a contemporary angel, with an house on his (her?) back

Goddess on the creative box

The Goddess takes Energy from THE Source! This is a magic Saturday for me! It's a rainy day, the sky is very dark, a wonderful silence....the sea near my house...only silence and rain...and my imagination goes on...

Messengers and Storytellers:a class with Dayle Doroshow

5 lessons and a wonderful group! These are my Messengers and Storytellers:Rich, Balance, Storyteller,Water, heart, heart1,Spring.

Wow! Stef! They are wonderful. I love your use of fiber and all the mixed media (silver etc ) parts. And the shapes/gestures you put into the torso are not only lovely design-wise but very emotionally evocative. I am a big believer of working in a "series"- so much to learn as you work on a number ofpieces in the same family- you did just great! xoxo Dayle

Oooh Stef! They're all wonderful! Your style is so creative and fun. And you were very bold in your media mixing. The way you wrap the fibers around the bodies is great. One reminds me of a tree with vines climbing on it. And using the tin is brilliant. Bravo! Karen
