Matteo F. and my roots

Many events have borught me back to my roots these days.
A person, very dear to me, has flown to heaven and has brought me back on my feet on earth.
My life needs a safe landing, despite the desire to sail towards unknown, wonderful worlds.
My roots anchor me and make me love life much more.
I am this boat, and my sea is calm and crystal clear, despite my tears.
I smell the perfume of weeds and ask myself why I'm still here, breathing, while Matteo is no more among us. I don't know, I don't understand, but I live.
Farewell Matteo, I am sure that you too are sailing on an even more beautiful sea, with your new, wonderful boat, and your smile as a companion.
