Halloween?

The first day of Autumn (I know, It's October 31, but this Autumn is very crazy, like Summer!)... a rainy, cold and grey day...but I love it!
I worked on the little table out of my house....I love dark orange and green/yellow and compositions of vegetables (like Renaissance tables).
Strange gourds bought during my travels and a wonderful chrysanthemum.

The Autumn colors are perfect for meditation.

This is the time to think about the dead and the night, when the earth is sleeping together with the seeds.
I love to sketch in the afternoons of Autumn...on my sofa...

...and this is the new sketch, He (She? It?) will be another urban angel, a contemporary angel, with an house on his (her?) back

urban angel: a vision? a dream?

I don't know...I do not know if I dreamed this Angel or if I have imagined him, but for my hands, this Angel was a real pleasure... for my hands, my head, my eyes. I have modeled this statue almost in trance for hours and hours: Prosculpt like butter, the washi paper like silk. This is an urban angel that walks on our side. The heart says 'change': do you want to change? I (and my urban angel) say YES.

Prosculpt, washi paper, acrilic paints, musk, feather, silver charm, swarovskij, copper wire. And passion.

modeling with a cup of tea...

Simonetta Martellini, (a wonderful journalist, a great friend) was in Beijing in August for the Olympic Games and She sent me from China a wonderful gift: a special bouquet of flowers, tea flowers, handmade by chinese women.

You take a bud of tea and put it in a glass, You pour hot water on the bud, as if to make tea...You smell the good scent and hour after hour this bud opens in a wonderful flower, thanks Simonetta!

well, It's the time for modeling...I'm creating an urban angel...
